My Hero Academia
Izuku Midoriya, a Quirkless child. One of the only 20% of the population without any type of power to call his own. Treated as a pariah by those around him and bullied for something he can't control. Until an ancient being awakens from it's slumber, and starts looking for the last remaining carriers of it's blood and flesh. Join Izuku Midoriya on his road to become a Hero, with his ancestor as a guide. Ironic since it was once called the Monster of Manhattan. [First fanfic, possibly will rewrite. Criticism welcome.]

Devastated by the words of his idol All Might, the Number 1 Hero, Izuku Midoriya tries to end his life by taking a swan dive of the building he and his idol was on. As he closes his eyes, accepting his fate, he found himself standing on a building and facing The Prototype himself Alex Mercer. There Mercer told him he was Izuku's past self and he is willing to merge their souls to give the Blacklight Virus to our protagonist and letting it mutate into a quirk. With this new quirk, Izuku will prove to those who doubt him that he too can be a hero. Disclaimer: I do not own the My Hero Academia nor Prototype Franchises..
