Elephants in the Light

Elissa, Brenda, and Cassidy have lived their whole lives on the light side of the mountains, their families in communion despite their social differences.

Meanwhile, on the dark side, Irene, Lila, and Agnes are teenage girls fighting to survive in a society wrought with bloodlust and love of war.

When war breaks out in the mountains, families and friendships on both sides are broken apart, and girls who were once sheltered are thrown into the evil of the world, forced to live like those who have lived their whole lives in violence.

When a girl from the light is brought to the dark, her friends must embark on a journey to save her. But they don't have much time before the world is pulled out from under them...
