Gem has been forced to kill. Blackmailed and backstabbed. But the Hermit Trials are over, and now she's free. But then she finds a box with only a watch. A device that would allow her to move between universes on command. She quickly meets  another multiversal travelers, Creed. And The Watchers are hunting them both down.
Creed tells her of rumors. Rumors of revolution, kidnappings, murders, and coups. Rumors that must be unraveled before it destroys the multiverse. But The Watchers are after them, and their influence reaches further than Gem could have ever imagined...
This book, the sequel to Moonfall, and is at its roots about finding hope in humanity, even in the darkest of times.
