Cleo Ambrose is a 17 year old girl who lives in a small town in Upstate New York. When she was a year old her mom decided she couldn't do and abandoned her. She left her with her aunt, Skye Ambrose. (She legally adopted her) Cleo grew up knowing her aunt as her mom. She never had a husband, only many in and out boyfriends. One of them asked her to marry him, that was Alex Dean. Cleo never liked Alex. He scared her and beat her. One day when Cleo was 5 years old, Alex came into her room, drunk, and tried to rape her Cleo got away, and still to this day never told a soulEver since that night, Alex has beaten Cleo everyday, even for the stupidest things. She has scars, not just from Alex, but from herself. Ever since she was 13, she would cut to feel numb. Cleo has an imaginary friend. Every night when she goes to sleep, she dreams. She dreams of getting away and having someone to protect her. She thinks its only in her dreams, but little does she know her dream guy is really out there, his name is Niall Horan. He is famous and in a band named One Direction. Cleo has no clue who One Direction is. Alex doesn't let her have any friends, she is not allowed to go to school, and has no connection to any social media. What will happen when Cleo runs into Niall? Is it by fate? Will Niall be the one to protect her, or will she be just another girl to him?
