The hotel had been more or less the same after the attack. From jokes and laughter to arguments and fighting, everything seemed normal. Unsurprisingly, it was, in fact, not normal.

Every entity knows Shadow is still out there, and planning something. They are all aware of the threat that looms over them. And through magic, pain, and loss, they plan on pulling through. But Shadow seems to know more about them than they realize, and a certain friend of theirs is hiding some things, too. The struggle for their survival will only end one way: in their victory, or their demise. 

Also, yes, this is an au.
