Where the Rock People Sleep

When the earth was new, humans depended on the earth. Used its clay for their homes, metals for their tools, and dirt for their foundations. One day, a man was able to create life from the dirt from which the walked on. These beings served to protect the humans they adored.
Technology began to advance as time went on and when the humans saw no used for these creatures, they locked them away.
In the present day, magic and folklore are long since forgotten. However, when a jewel thief finds a map to a hidden treasure, one of these creatures escapes into a world beyond their understanding.
Now the jewel thief has to hide their new friend from the dangers they yet to discover. Along the way, ancient secrets begin to emerge as magic is now leaking back into the world once more.
