Darcy Pierce was a normal girl, living in the big city. She wanted to have a quiet life, and the only way for her to do that was to leave and move to a small town in Texas. Darcy knew her parents wouldn't be happy, nor would her brothers, sisters, and niece, but she wanted to get away. 

Jeremy Renner was a closed off man that stayed to himself. He and his little girl lived on a farm, and he took care of the farm and sold eggs and whatever plants he harvested on his land. He was very busy, but he wasn't one to ask people for help. 

Darcy moved to a small set of homes about five miles from Jeremy's farm, so when she sees him at a local farmer's market, no one is surprised. He was always there selling things, he just wasn't one to talk to everyone in town. He had a select few friends, and that was it.
