Sonic is the Crown Prince of Mobius, a title he never wanted to have. With his mother being the strict and beloved Queen Aleena, Sonic is forced to stay within the castle, forbidden to know what lies beyond the walls. When Sonic sneaks out one night, he runs into Shadow, a young noble man who has lost his father and his sister to an attack on his hometown. Sonic falls madly in love and considers permanently leaving his royal life for one with Shadow, until he falls victim to an attack that almost kills him, leading Shadow to wonder, who is this mysterious boy that holds his heart?

this story is based in Roman times in Mobius. long ago sonic and Shadow was childhood friends that had only each other to face the hate that they got from the world till Sonic's father had enough of Sonic not listening to him and had him sold off into slavery. shadow tries to save him from leaving his side but was too weak to do so resulting in shadow snapping as the last thing he had in life was taken away from him resulting in him becoming insane. will shadow find Sonic or forget him and carry on in life as the new Emperor 12 years later.
