"I never wanted to be a thief." Rura Vantanox left Cryodiil and all her painful memories behind for a fresh start in Skyrim, only to end up in the crossfire of an Imperial ambush. After narrowly surviving Helgen with her life, she makes her way southeast to Riften, claiming the catacombs of the city as her home. A poorly-planned heist against the infamous Thieves Guild leaves her at the mercy of a certain red-haired Nord who spares her life in exchange for selling her soul to his band of kleptomaniacs. But the life of a thief is surely more perilous than an earning and honest day's work, and Rura's Imperial luck is starting to run dry. This story loosely follows the original plot of the Thieves Guild questline, filled with lots of behind-the-scenes background information and larger-than-life plot twists. Oh yeah, and it's a romance. (Contains mature scenes, including violence, blood/gore, sexual content, strong language, and alcohol use.) *Rura Vantanox is an original character, but I do not claim to own any of The Elder Scrolls, Skyrim, or Thieves Guild intellectual property.*

Eliza, a inspiring bard, has come to Riften for a fresh start for herself and her nephew, Bo. She thought she was ready for whatever the city offered her. She couldn't have been more wrong. After several mishaps, she finally regrets her decision and is about to leave the poor excuse of a city, but then she is found by a member of a mysterious organization operating within Riften who gives her an offer she can't exactly ignore. . . I'm not Todd Howard, therefore I do not own Skyrim. This is a fanfic about my non-dragonborn character.
