Aelia has always loved summer. Especially since she lived on a beautiful island her whole life, until she was forced to move to Oregon after he mom died and her father started drowning himself in alcohol. As she struggles to put behind what happened in the past, she goes back to the island she grew up on for the summer and finds happiness, with her childhood bestfriend Lydia. As Aelia settles back onto the island she reconnects with her other childhood friend Kai and realizes she might still have feelings for him but her past trauma might just be enough to ruin everything.
