A writer's twist on the story of one of the famous myths of all time.

-

"Did you miss me?" His blue ocean eyes gazed upon my small figure.

My head pounded as I took him in. It was like he had never changed. He had awoken faster than me and had clearer memories. While my head was still fuzzy with doubt. I did not know much about him other than the popular retelling of our story.

I know I should feel disgusted by the way his eyes trailed along my body. But I could not help the shiver of need that passed through my body. Smirking at my reaction, he reached out to grab my helpless body.

Terrified, I took a step back. But I should not have. As I looked up I froze in horror. His clear blue eyes turned dark like the stormy waves crashing against mountains.

"I do not know who you are." I mumbled, staring at the marble floor.

I heard thundering footsteps before two gentle fingers tilted my head up.

"Its okay. You will soon."
