A writer's twist on the story of one of the famous myths of all time. - "Did you miss me?" His blue ocean eyes gazed upon my small figure. My head pounded as I took him in. It was like he had never changed. He had awoken faster than me and had clearer memories. While my head was still fuzzy with doubt. I did not know much about him other than the popular retelling of our story. I know I should feel disgusted by the way his eyes trailed along my body. But I could not help the shiver of need that passed through my body. Smirking at my reaction, he reached out to grab my helpless body. Terrified, I took a step back. But I should not have. As I looked up I froze in horror. His clear blue eyes turned dark like the stormy waves crashing against mountains. "I do not know who you are." I mumbled, staring at the marble floor. I heard thundering footsteps before two gentle fingers tilted my head up. "Its okay. You will soon."

Series 1 BOOK 4 (Spin-off) Orginal release 2014 "If rest was a sign of weakness, then we would all be dead." Blue eyes settled on mine as I slowly looked over at him. Is it bad to say, I've never talked with Poseidon this close before? Even in the night sky, I can see his deep blue eyes reflecting upon the many stars and the bright moon. And for that one moment...I knew why I fell in love with him. Who cares for his lustrous acts dispassionate statements. Who cares that he is reckless and callous. I know I can never love anyone else as much as I do him... "Even the great Kronos rested. Well, when he wasn't trying to swallow us whole he did." Poseidon smirked as he talked about his sad past. "You may be right," the words came breathlessly out of my mouth as tried to keep my composure, "I guess I could rest a little while." "Good." I can't help but want him...Poseidon, the god of the sea.
