Alexander Wolf, the born-human descendant of the greatest pack of his world, is the sole heir of the Alpha of the prestigious Prime Crescent Pack.
His birth has always been a calamity, a distress. Every breath he takes reminds him of the misfortune he's caused to his parents, family, and pack.
Although welcomed, he doubts their sincerity, as he lacks a wolf and the ability to shift like other werewolves. He's spent his life alone, hiding behind high walls and large doors whenever his parents tried to introduce him to the pack.
But now, with his coming of age, he must step forward into alpha duties and serve his pack. Will he find himself ruling with grace, or will he run away like he always has?
Will he give up his birthright due to the Moon Goddess's cruel twist of fate? As a human in a wolf pack, his life is far from fortunate, unlike his human mother, the Luna, who is protected by the powerful Alpha, his father.
However, he can't escape the whispers within the pack: "Can a human really be our next Alpha? No way!"
His life is already a mess, and the Awakening Ceremony, a significant milestone, has shaken him to his core. He doubts his ability to fulfill alpha duties and find a mate bond, especially without a wolf of his own.
Will he find someone to accept him without being looked down upon? Can he satisfy his primal urges without being a werewolf himself?
But he doubts whether he'll have a mate at all.
