GHOST / SOAP X OC
'Nothing can prepare you for war.
For the death, the carnage, the trauma.'
At least, that's what they say.
But for Jessie Harrison, it was something she was about to get a taste for. Long gone are the days when she could remain in her office, behind the scenes, dealing with the aftermath of these silent wars.
No, she was about to thrown right into the life she had been training for. Facing down her demons, her past and enemies that wanted to destroy the world that she and her team were trying to protect.
Between the missions and the battles, fighting for her life, somehow Jessie found herself stuck in a situation where there was no right way out of and a team she was desperate to protect.
Would everything come crashing down around her?

Author's Note: Okay, so I have only just started getting into this fandom. (Hey, blame the COD cosplayers that have begun flooding my TikTok courtesy of BookTok. LOL. I have read up a bit on Ghost and have read a few fanfics, so I'm giving it a shot. Please be gentle. Also, I should mention I have never played COD, but have heard of it. Author's Note 2: This has some things from the games, characters too. I will be including the betrayal by Sheperd and Graves, but in my story, Soap wasn't killed. Just letting the readers know, and please no backlash or comments as I will delete them. This is fan fiction not cannon. Having said that, if the characters seem out of character I'm sorry but this is how they came out as I wrote this. Again, no backlash or rude comments. If you don't like it then don't read the story. Plain and simple. Just so you know, there is a playlist for this pic. Here's the link if you're interested: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5Wh7toa54mIyUFQWDwhBxQ?si=64a5ba74d0544b07Complete

#1 in Simon Ghost Riley rating 03.02.25 #1 in Price, Soap, COD rating 03.02.25 #11 in "Ghost" rating 17.01.025 She illuminated Task Force 141 with her presence like the bright sun on a hot summer day, but who could have thought that she could be a traitor? Having entrusted her with his past, finding a friend in her, he is forced to beat the information out of her, sparing neither strength nor blows. #20 in #Ghost 15.01.2025 #2 in #Price 15.01.2025 An excerpt: A small ritual she had been repeating for the past few days seemed foolish to many. Sometimes, even to herself. "Lor," a quiet voice behind her made her flinch. "You know the base is already lit up. There's no need to leave him a light on." "I know," she briefly glanced at all the lights around. Her tiny lamp made no physical difference amidst all that brightness. "It's a sign, Keegan. Leaving a light on for those who are supposed to come home." "You're waiting for him despite everything he's done to you? After all the pain you've been through?" he touched the bruise on her arm, fully aware that there were more she kept hidden. "Yes." Slow burn. Strangers to lovers to enemies. Jamie Hendricks is an AWOL Helicopter Pilot hiding in the American wilderness when suspicious helicopters are spotted over her office. Her involvement and her dark past draws the attention of Task Force 141. In exchange for not getting court martial, she is recruited and trained to be a killer just like her enigmatic, dark, guiltless new lieutenant... while she fights off the demons of her past while trying to fight for her future, she's drawn into Ghost's darkness and he's drawn to the flame she continually hides from him. Light and dark collide like fire and gasoline, explosions and death are bound to follow. This story is based completely off of the COD MWII game, along with parts of the story of my own included. I do not own nor created any characters from the game. Written from Jamie's POV with some of Ghosts POV.
