This is the first draft of my WIP "Echoes in the Night". I'm trying to keep things smooth but it's a first draft, so a couple things may pop up, disappear, and it may seem chunky at times. Sorry about this! I'm trying my best, but it may be slightly chaotic. Judy Kempler, the police captain, is hiding something. The more Lily digs, the more she finds that Judy isn't what she seems. Another wrench is thrown in her plans when a certain blond cop turns out to be ridiculously cute. Lily's world is changing, but she's not mad about it. Her life becomes a lot more interesting over the span of a couple weeks, and she must find a way to balance everything she's taken on. I created this story with themes of identity, independence, and connection. Lily's story is a parallel of mine, and I hope this story reaches someone's heart the way it has mine. A 16 year old girl had grown up with a gang known as "the Violets". she grew tired of their criminal ways and decides to finally run way. With her new life, to protect the people she loves or anybody for that matter, she completely shuts them away so when ever the gang does find her, they don't use anyone against her. A new boy comes into the city, accepted to a talented school, she meets him and already has him messing with her, she tried her best to push him away but he just bounces back. with him in the way, she just cant protect anyone... can she make him leave her alone? will the talking or flirting with her stop? or will she be forced back into the gang no matter what? Note that there is a few error mistakes that I don't honestly have the time to correct. Just pretend they are not there! Thank you!

i wrote this for a class project- tell me if there is needed corrections :) The main character is a girl named Elizabeth, who has been on the streets for countless years because her parents abandoned her. she is on the run from the cops, for reasons you must read to understand:) and after being alone for all those years she finally finds love and has a child. but things go wrong and people are hurt...Have fun!! and ENJOY:)
