Kokichi Ouma, a royal vampire, is madly in love with Shuichi Saihara, a paranormal detective and potential vampire hunter. Although Kokichi is fully aware of Shuichi's morbid profession, he refuses to play things safe and abandon the love of his life.

On the other hand, Shuichi is completely oblivious to Kokichi's true identity. But as local disappearances skyrocket and his hunt for the supernatural culprit continues, the boy he loves so dearly becomes more suspicious by the second, especially when people close to Shuichi start going missing...
