Cynthia is a Seelie, whereas most think her kind is simply a myth. She was taken from her mountains home as a very young girl and raised by a scientist who bought her from her abductors.

His experiments go a little too far when he messes with a magical ring, and the blast from the ring tears her home apart... Cynthia is sucked from one world into the next.

Little people with feathered wings just simply don't exist in Middle Earth.

At least the old man taught her to speak like a human, or else the young dwarvish scribe would have to continue playing a game of charades.

But who's taking that into account? She did save the mountain King's life, by total accident...
