Hoseok had a good life. He had a good, loving, and caring father. He graduated high school and Beta school with honors. He had a dream job doing his internship with his appa, training to be the next second-in-command, and his future looked bright. He has been surrounded by good friends all his life and has never had anything horrible happen directly to Hoseok himself. However, he was strongly affected by the pain and suffering from the calamities of his friends. Always on the side or in the background helping out his close friends work through their misfortunes. His happiness comes from their happiness.
Finally, everything has lined up. With his help, his friends have overcome all obstacles on the path to their fated true loves and have had pups or are expecting. Hoseok can not help but feel lonely and left out. Betas are not governed by their pheromones, and therefore, they rarely have destined mates. They can pick whomever. But Hoseok wants a destined mate as all his friends have. Will he find her?
