Jan Morgan has just moved into Redbrook High, at the exact same time Tyler Reynolds, the school's "Bad boy", comes out from juvenile jail.
She was hoping for a peaceful high school life between the shelves of the school library, but Tyler's sudden interest in her has made her life as turbulent as ever. But Jan has a secret of her own.
As Tyler starts putting Jan into the center of the spotlight of Redbrook High, she attracts the unwelcome attention of his self-proclaimed girlfriend Katelyn Monroe, who is determined to make her life miserable and humiliate her so much Tyler would hate her. Can Jan get out of this situation with the library books alone? I highly doubt it.
