It's a new school year for the students of the boarding school Hope's Peak Academy. The school starts out normally for everyone in it, until it becomes known that a pandemic called the Despair Disease is making its way through Asia and is coming towards Japan. They ignore it until Despair makes it to Japan and causes the school and everything to lockdown. Hope's Peak then, like every other school switches from in person to online instruction. How will each of the students handle this crisis?

This story is a fan interpretation inspired by the upcoming GL series Pls Love starring Lena and Miu. While waiting for their series to begin filming and eventually be released, I wanted to imagine what their story might feel like - to give fans a small taste of the emotions, tension, and romance we might see on screen. This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across. Because of that, some details may differ from the original novel or the future series. This is simply a fan project created while we all wait for Lena and Miu's next series.
