I knew I was always different than the other kids. I see things no one else can. My mother said it was a gift, but my father said it was a curse. He never really liked me anyways. He always called me the 'son of the devil.' I didn't know what to think of it. I was so young back than, but now I think it's not a curse or a gift; it's just me. Others, even my family, would call me a freak. I can't help that I was born this way.
Am I still going to be a freak or as I start college, can I be a normal boy and make friends?
