The Hidden Queen

"Who is that?" one man asks.
"That's Sir Peter's daughter."
"You mean that's his daughter. She looks nothing like what I thought the daughter of a foreigner would look." Their eyes meet mine, and they quickly look away.
"Shame her mother was a foreign pig," I hear one of the women say to several others.
"She does have an exotic beauty about her," one of the other women says.
"Let us not forget we are at war with her kind," another woman says. I can feel my anger flare, and I want to reach for the dagger hidden under my skirt and plunge it into her exposed breasts.
