Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas. When she starts her new school, Cliffside High, everyone despises her. They don't like the same music she does and they don't dress like her. She's an outcast in their book. But when she gets home, she goes to her favorite website and chats with people who love her. Who don't despise her. But, everything changes when a stranger starts to chat with her. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. The packed lunches stopped coming when he turned ten. Eleven, the birthday parties ceased. At fourteen, his younger brother was 'too old' to have to share his room, so A.J. was moved to the small laundry room. At sixteen, there were no more 'I love you' or 'have a good day'. At seventeen, the lunch money stopped and the hateful glares started. Then the angry words. Everything he did was wrong. The dishes weren't clean. The laundry wasn't folded right. By the time he finally graduated, a few days after his nineteenth birthday, there was no more attention of any sort. They ignored him, except to tell him that his chores weren't done well enough and that he didn't deserve to eat until they were.
