This story alternates between different POVs. I know it's not cannon, but I like to fantasize that Aonung and Neteyam had a secret relationship during the movie The Way of Water. This mini story is about that, while the movie concentrates on Tsireya and Lo'ak's relationship, my story focuses on the secret relationship that Aonung and Neteyam hid from everyone. There are some parts of the movie in the story, but the rest is all mine. This is my first time writing one so be patient with me.
