(This is a reimagined and much better version of the fanfic "Healing, Francesco Pazzi x Reader" which I wrote a year ago.)
Y/N Farnese is the daughter of a military man -- her ability with a sword and physical prowess evidence of her time training among soldiers and being raised by men who fought for a living.
After two attempts on her life, Y/N and her older brother relocate to Florence to live under the protection of the Medicis, close family friends to her father. In time, the Farnese siblings become part of the Medici family and jewels of Florence. Y/N is quickly revered for her beauty, and slightly judged for her odd habits (like wearing pants and sword fighting with her brothers).
At one Florentine event, she meets a dark and handsome stranger -- Francesco Pazzi.
