What would you do if your world was turned upside down in the blink of an eye?
When Astrid's peaceful home is raided by the Vikings at only fifteen, she is taken as a slave for the Earl in Norway, where she grows into a fierce, independent young woman, who remains in bondage.
In preparing to raid, the Earl calls for additional forces from Sweden, led by his powerful and selfish son. Upon his arrival, he bargains with his father, whom he soon buys Astrid from, making her a promise of freedom under one condition-to fight in the upcoming raid.
After agreeing, Astrid soon learns what the price of freedom really is...
Go with Astrid as she fights the battles within her wits, life, and love to survive in the brutal Viking world.

This story came up to me one day about four years before yesterday. I have to accept the real and mostly true events that did happen in Paris in the year 2018. The events happened a couple of months later I wrote this fantasy! The French President was shocked himself by the events described in my book! I am sorry, dear Mr. President about those events! What's the story about? About the long-forgotten man - the last Viking, Harald the Severe (Hardrada) A piece of the plot itself: "I've just woken up from the dead. I guess I've killed my wife and let her rest in peace. Before I sucked her dry, she was mumbling some crazy bullshit about my future, the world that needed me, and other creepy things. Let her get away! She had a peeve with me and my beaten head for the whole of my life! And now I've drunk her life and blood till the last drop. I hate them both! Why am I fucking alive?" "I can now see my future. I will follow the right path. But for me, it won't be a path. It will be a highway as I am the king!" "I don't want to have a total monopoly. I want to be free. Astrid is the smallest,skinniest and weakest viking you have ever seen in the whole entire archipelago and also the tribe's runt, where she carries misfortune wherever she goes. She was forced to marry the chief's son at a young age to restore her family honor and name after the shame that her uncle did. What happens during one of the dragon raids she shot down the most fearsome dragon, but no one believed her, where she then decided to go look for it. But instead seeing a black dragon she saw a pearly white dragon. Many weeks went by. She was able to befriend the beautiful white dragon, where she then learns the truth about dragons. Can she changed every vikings mind about dragons? or Will she get banished by her own tribe? Well! Read this story and find out! NOTE: The characters here in this story are 13 years old. And I know that they are 15 in the movies! So don't go wild and say that "THEY ARE ACTUALLY 15 NOT 13!" There is actually a reason why I made them a bit younger. And also I didn't completely erase Stormfly I decided that she will have a different rider (no spoilers on the person who will be riding Stormfly). Don't get me wrong I adore Astrid with Stormfly, but I feel more connected to the Light Fury or Luna (that most fans name her) when I first saw her on screen and pls don't be mad at me that is not canon. And there is a reason I decided to add another dragon rider. It is actually for Tuffnut to have a soulmate. I actually don't know anyone will like this ship, but hey! He could not kill it, he wouldn't kill it knowing himself having one of them as his own, never the less, he was afraid of losing his only best friend, Toothless. He would never trust and look at him the same way. So he decided to take matters into his on hands by running away or flying away from berk, not the best move but knowing he was know as the village runt or the Chief's screwup and would always get beat up for no valid reasons by his cousin and his friends, sure he pass every training with a prefect score but he still did not get the respect that he deserve from the villagers. If he so tried to convince them. No one would listen to him. Not even his own father. But he wasn't running away with just Toothless but with Astrid as well. After their romantic flied which also change her view on dragons, and their discovery of the red death, Hiccup was still planning to run away even though he have just finally friended an actual human, he decided to tell her so he don't have to let her worry about him leaving without a word in the next day. When he finish telling her his plan and surprisingly to hiccup and even Toothless she beg to come with and she also told him her reason. Turns out Astrid Hofferson was abused and pressured by her own family. She have enough of it, Hiccup didn't really have yes as his first nor second choice but she beg him until he gave up and let her tag along. What would happen to them?, will this new path that choose was path to a bright future?,will something spark between them? (Obviously). What would the village have to say about this?
