My name is Catherine Blake. I'm 15 years old, and I'm a swimmer. Not competitive swimming, but the type of swim you would use to relax and get away from the world. My whole world revolves around water, it's no longer a hobby, it's a part of me that will never leave. Nothing could go wrong, I had everything I wanted. It's funny how one misstep can make your whole world tumble as if it was nothing, erasing you and everything you thought you knew from reality. My name is Catherine Blake, and this is the story of how my world tumbled down, and how i built it back up, piece by piece.

This is My Life
I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book!
