Si Missherlaine Arnoia ay lumaki sa ampunan na walang maalala tungkol sa kanyang nakaraan. Sa kadahilanang gusto niyang matuklasan ang kanyang pagkakakilanlan ay pinangarap niyang maging bahagi ng espesyal na departamento sa langaran ng pag-iimbestiga-ang Esoteric Crime Investigative o ECI. Kaya naman pumasok siya sa Cardenas State University kung saan hindi niya inakalang tahanan pala ng mga kagaya niyang espers.
