In the days of Knights and Kings, a young maiden named Sylvia finds an injured man deep in the woods. She notices his strange red eyes and the ancient language he speaks, confused and awed by them. She decides to tend to his wounds in secret, choosing to save him rather than expose his existence to anyone. But in time she finds herself undeniably drawn to this stranger, though they barely understand each other's speech most days!
However, before Sylvia can overcome her life of slavery and the abusive past that keeps her heart guarded, the stranger she fought to save kidnaps her to be his unwilling bride, with the use of a giant flying beast!
But who is he? Where did he come from, and just where is he taking her? And more importantly, will Sylvia find a way to escape before it's too late? Or will she be won over by her captor's charms?
