This fanfic is about James and Lilys story through Hogwarts and after switching between POVs of different people if you are a Marauders era fan this is definitely for you. I do have the fancasts available to help you picture them while reading. I did try and include a couple of things that are canon but most of it are head canons that ive thought of or ive seen. I hope you enjoy it as much as i have been writing it x

However, this year is a bit different because a certain Marauder; James Potter, has found himself in quite the puzzle You see, James is stuck between Lily Evans, who he thought was the only one for him, and a certain dark haired Slytherin boy, one he never thought he would ever have anything to do with given that this particular Slytherin is a relative of his best friend. See this Slytherin is none other than Fourth Year Regulus Black. James had never seen anything in Regulus before but this year is different. This year Regulus is...attractive. Regulus, however, is not quite the same, see he does have feelings for James, he has done since he started Hogwarts but he had made peace with the fact that he would never compare to Lily Evans. What I'm doing here is taking the Marauders' (James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter), Lily Evans', and Severus Snape's tales of Hogwarts and I'm turning them modern because I don't know what it would've been like when they were actually there so... yeah. This is mostly in the point of view of Lily Evans, but I might switch to James every now and then. I'm going to try and focus a lot of the Marauders, of course, and their relationships with Lily. And of course, Lily's relationship with Snape because let's be honest, we all ship it a little bit! This takes place in their sixth year so.... enjoy!
