Darryl knew that being queer in a public school in the early 2000s was dangerous, but he couldn't help the way he felt. As he walked down the crowded hallway, him and Zak's eyes met, and they both knew that they were in this together, no matter what. Together, as friends of course. Right?
Zak also has been keeping a secret. Everywhere he goes, he would wear this special zip-up leather jacket. And he doesn't tell anyone why.
