I quickly turned away from him, to get the hell out of the room. But he caught my arm and pulled me back into his chest. Shit. Fuck. He buried his face in my hair, arms enclosing around me and whispered into my ear, ❝I thought things between us were getting better, is this how your gonna lie and ruin it?❞ I could feel him smiling against my ears, his fingers gently raking through my hair.
