Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a secret? To be hidden away, where no one knows who you are? Not the battles you fought, for sake of others each and every single day? To be considered nothing more than a myth to be thought of in passing? After being discovered by Killia with a head injury, warrior Samuel willingly follows Killia into the Rebel army and acts as his right-hand man in the war against the Lost Army. With his amnesia, he has no stakes in this war, so fights for Killia and the others. But he does have some memories, memories that centre on rare and long-forgotten myths and legends. Who exactly is Samuel?

Or; A bunch of skits of Killia and Samuel growing closer before Samuel's past comes back to haunt him.

Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.

When the captain of the army, Lucas, returns home victorious after the great war, all he wants is to be with his princess, Lorien. However, his joy withers when an unsuspecting visitor, Prince Samuel of a far country, comes to the kingdom, seeking Lorien's hand in marriage. For their forbidden love, both Lucas and Lorien are willing to fight and risk all for each other but when Lucas' dark secret is unveiled and a figure of his past reappears, his mistakes will be their downfall while Lorien must learn to hide her true self. When the soldier makes a wrongful sacrifice, it is now the princess who must pay for his wrong... What are they willing to give? How far are they willing to go? Who will pay the ultimate price and grant a soul for tomorrow? ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Hey all!! DISCLAIMER: This is a story I wrote in 2008 and it's the very first story that I wrote and finished when I started writing so I still have the whole story saved for the memories. But I recently discovered Wattpad thanks to a few lovelies (you all know who you are... *ahem* thanksgiving *ahem* ;) ) and I've decided to get back into writing. This story has a lot of meaning to me so I do intend to publish the whole story. I have published this story on the internet already on two different sites so if you do see it, just note that no, I didn't steal this story off someone else, I promise! :) If you are interested in seeing the unedited versions from 6 years ago, I'd be more than happy to send you the link via PM. In all honesty though, I have made a few embellishments. Nothing major, just the vocabulary really but the plot and characters are all completely the same. However, if you haven't read the unedited versions in the first place thenjust enjoy :P How often I update this story will be up to you guys and your feedback. If I get a positive response, then the next chapter will be up much sooner. All feedback is appreciate, even the baddies! :) Enjoy! Love you all E. Reignheart ~<3~
