The team of agents go on a few missions allowing Ward to eventually gain the trust of his former teammates. As the missions and days drone on, Ward and Skye get closer and closer together and so does the team; almost as if they were starting back at the beginning. They simply did not care that Ward had once been the enemy, he was now the ally. He wasn't HYDRA anymore, but he also didn't think he was a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent anymore either.
