Phoenix Oceana finds herself a part of class 3-E with no recollection of why or how she ended up in a class of misfits. With hardly any memory of herself, all she knows is that she needs to kill her teacher before the end of the school year to save the world. The catch is that he is unkillable. 

However, she finds herself more drawn to a boy in her class. She experiences feelings she can't describe and follows what her heart wants more than what her purpose is in this world. Yet somehow, while indulging in her feelings for this boy, she is simultaneously following her purpose to leave this world behind.

What will she do when she finds out her real purpose is not to kill her teacher, but Karma Akabane himself?

And then ta~da! In class 3-E the next year! Class 3-E was just the thing the h/c girl needed- some excitement! Killing her very own teacher and the very ma- octopus that destroyed 70% of the Moon! But unlike her, the girl's parents are not so eager about this sudden drop. Her first day begins with some familiar faces but to her disappointment, no Cherry.
