The town of Calico was separated into two different cities. North Calico and South Calico. For over 5 centuries, they have been feuding, well not really. North Calico have always told lies about South. Saying that it is as horrible as a witch can be. Diane doesn't think so, she believes that everyone is equal and that South Calico is just filled with ordinary folk like her.
