The novel follows the journey of a young time traveler, named Ella, as she travels back in time to the height of the Roman Empire. Upon her arrival, she finds that the world is not as she expected it to be. The Roman Empire is still standing, but it is now a world where magic and mythical creatures, such as elves and dwarves, coexist with humans.
However, all is not well in this alternate history. The world is on the brink of a massive conflict, similar to World War 1 and 2, but with the added twist of magic and mythical creatures playing a major role in the conflict
