A gender-bent Pride & Prejudice retelling, told by a female Darcy.

After months of struggling at work following her father's death, Dacia García needs a break. Or rather, she's forced into one by her boss after a public meltdown and subsequent panic attack in front of company shareholders. Despite having zero interest in returning to Texas, she has no one but her college friends Chastity and Christian Barrera to turn to, who are temporarily residing in San Antonio for the summer. Dacia's ideal vacation is reading the days away and sulking about her problems in peace, but when Chastity falls head over heels for Jane Galindo, Dacia is roped into hanging out with Jane's family and friends week after week. That includes Marcus Galindo, Jane's charming younger brother who wants nothing to do with Dacia after overhearing a snarky comment made about his future profession in elementary education.

Marcus and Dacia butt heads over everything, but there's something about him that keeps drawing her back to him. As time passes and they keep running into each other, they start spending time alone together and even begin to like one another. But their tenuous relationship threatens to implode when someone from Dacia's past throws her character into question. Marcus knows Dacia is keeping something from him, and its stopping him from falling for her the way she's already fallen for him. Dacia will have to learn to trust Marcus with the darkest truths of her heart if she doesn't want to lose him forever. But even that might not be enough to keep them together.

Love can feel empowering. Love can be deadly. It can be the greatest thing to ever happen. It can be the biggest mistake that can't be reversed. It can feel like a dream come true. It can feel like a nightmare that you can't wake up from. Love changes people in many ways, from mild to severe, whether it's beneficial or detrimental in anybody's life, no matter if you're lesbian, gay, straight, bisexual, pansexual, or a person who just loves people without a label. How does love change you? ******* It's like your basic high school love story, except it's with adults in their early-mid 20s, and they're either still in college or have graduated from college and have jobs. It's a modern slice of life narrative novel about lesbians trying to find true love or wanting to get back into the love game. Five of these lovely characters share their own little tales of how love changes them first go, or their first time in forever! Their perspectives on love as it takes effect either get sensual, dramatic, or to the extent of a slow burn, as they also deal with life's obstacles along the way and share a part in each other's stories. There are ups and downs as their own stories go along, and it all gets more suspenseful towards the end where problems unfortunately arise. Will things get better or worse from here for these lovestruck lesbians as the story goes on? [Content/Trigger Warnings- the main warnings are scenes of sexual activity, and suicidal talk/attempt, along with mentions of said attempt. Everything else is listed inside the book! Please read the list before reading the book!] [Word count: +140,000 words...I write a lot, but enjoy anyway!]

She struggles to hold on to her feelings of resentment, unable to deny that she wants to try and let go of the grudges of the past. And when he looks at her with a burning passion in his eyes, it is evident that only one thing had begun to devour her: the addicting feeling of his body against hers. + This is a sequel to the first book: "CONSUME." + In this book, Kameron and Axel navigate their lives as adults, as well as learn to deal with their newly, unexpected reconnection. Forced to be around each other due to their mutual friendships and close-knit families, facing the forceful magnetism pulling them closer together may just be inevitable. Will they forgive, and finally be able to heal their differences after all these years? Or are the wounds just too deep to be mended? + There is detailed smut in this book. *Check out the audiobook on Youtube* Emma has sworn never to fall in love, but when circumstances force her to move in with her brother's best friend there are definite sparks. Like when he accidentally picks up her vibrator... Or when she walks in on him naked in the shower... Maybe... maybe they should just do it once... to get it out of their systems. Knightley has been her brother's best friend for as long as she can remember. And now they're all at the same university. It's not until she moves into his apartment that she notices just how grown-up he's become. He's no longer the scrawny boy she never paid attention to. Ripped and handsome, he's no stranger to taking women home. But he never lets them stay the night. Knightley never expected this. Somehow, he's ended up living with his best friend's little sister. And she has turned hot as hell. He does not need the image of her with a vibrator taking up space in his head. She is off limits. Of course she is. No matter what kind of feelings he has for her. This is a brother's best friend, roommates-to-lovers with a secret relationship and steamy benefits. (❤️18+ recommended❤️) It's unedited, so there might be mistakes throughout. Thanks for your understanding! Book 2 in the Benefits series. This is a standalone, but it follows Pride and Hate with Benefits. (Both are inspired by Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and Emma.)
