Don't Hide Away

I've been known as the "dumb friend" for most of my highschool years, but it's because I feel like my friends will make fun of me if I show my true colors. You see, I'm actually super intelligent. My parents wanted me to go into all honors classes this year, but I couldn't take the pressure of trying to be the perfect son. So, I played dumb.

I've always been the "explosive, anger issues guy". Ever since childhood, I put up a mask that made me seem tough, so no one messed with me. I felt like a fraud sometimes, but it was to make sure I wouldn't get hurt. I would like to say I'm a good person once you get to know me, but I wouldn't know myself. I've always been an observer, analyzing every move in a fight or in regular people. There was only one person that I couldn't see through properly. I could see his mask that he put up, but he was so mysterious. I didn't know the real him.
