Stars

You walk through life taking everything for granted.

You don't mean to.
I don't blame you.
I did too.

When you get hungry, you find something to eat and you eat it.
When it's hot you put on a fan, when its cold you put on the heating.
If it's dark you put on a light so you can see.

We all go through life taking everything for granted.

Sure you've probably had moments when you contemplate on the less fortunate, but you never really understand.

That is until you lose everything you have ever known.
Everything you always took for granted.

It's only when you're homeless, and you've lost everyone you have ever loved, that you realize what you had.

And you have nothing to do but look up at the stars.
