Since the beginning of the 20th century, the street 5th Street has been avoided by the residents in Rockville, New Jersey, for its association with cursing anyone who dares to walk down it. But what happens when you're new and know nothing of such a scary part of history???

This is the original story you all like most; I want to publish this one day and hope you all like it enough. If so, remember to vote and give me something to be proud of writing-wise, LOL!

The Bird People by WendyyWolfe

In 1600s Virginia, a small colonial village sprang up unceremoniously on the sacred burial grounds of the Native American people it was taken from, the Nottoway. Now, an ancient evil has been awakened in the form of Elementals known as The Bird People and it is suspected that the Nottoway Tribe has cursed the ground in revenge for being encroached upon by colonial settlers. After failed crops, still births, deaths, burnt homes and facing starvation, superstitions run rampant and the townspeople do the only thing they can think of in the late 1600s to appease these angry and destructive spirits. Give them an offering. It is quietly decided by the elders of the community, in an effort to keep these spirits of the bird people at bay, that every woman should give up her first born infant daughter to them. One such young mother cannot bear this resolution much less imagine giving up her only child. In order to keep her only child, a daughter, she makes a baby out of straw and gives that instead, bringing chaos to their puritan village. A cursed girl. The man who loves her. A questionable death. His Secrets And Lies (Bwwm) by CaiTheWriter
35 parts Complete Mature
The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" "There are a bunch of wolves outside my house. I think they have rabies or something I'm not sure." The banging gets louder and I can feel my face getting wet from the tears. "Mamm did you say wolves are there?" "Yes Yes there are wolves about 10 of them out here in my front yard. I need help!" I hang up the phone and sit on the end of the stair case. I close my eyes and start praying. Something I haven't done in a while. "I have faith, there is a god. I have faith, there is a god, I have faith, there is a god." I repeat over and over. The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. A woman emerges and walks toward me. She snaps her fingers and the pretty brown wolf is in front of me. Right there by my face. "Ridanna you know what to do." Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists. I feel like there is no such thing as pain and I feel light as if I can float off the Earth. Fine as hell white boy with a pro-black activist fall for each other. Cherise Miss Activist doesn't want to date Zaire the fine as hell white boy not for his race but for his secrets. What if he had a past he didn't tell you about and the only way you found out is because the past came to kill you? And I'm not talking werewolves and vampires. Cherise would only wish for problems for they would be so simple compared to hers and Zaire's. If any woman found out Zaire's secrets they'd take off running to the nearest police station or they end up in a body bag in the end. Depends....which will come first?

Nadie Lee and The Ghosts of Ilvermorny (Completed ✔️)

26 parts Complete

Nadie Lee was always the odd one out, so finding out about her magical abilities was less surprising and more comforting for her. Nadie began to make friends and find her place at Ilvermorny, the American wizarding school. However, darkness hides in the wonderful world Nadie has just discovered. And somehow, she ends up right in the middle of it. This is a Harry Potter fanfiction that takes place at the newly revealed North American wizarding school: Ilvermorny. The first section is the concept, and after that is the story. Your input would be greatly appreciated. I am aware that the possible names of the Ilvermorny houses have been leaked. I began writing this story before then, so there are different houses. I may change it, and I may not, according to what details of the new houses are revealed. Nadie Lee shares many characteristics with me, although we are not the same person. So, she is not based on Hermione.
