"Would you like to dance Miss Elizabeth?"

"Yes" Lizzie replied so quickly it shocked her just as much as Mr. Darcy's question had. William was too proud to dance with someone like Eliza, and he had even told her, the first time they met, that he hated dancing.

"I thought you didn't like to dance Mr. Darcy." Lizzie said as Darcy led her to the dance floor.

"Please call me William" Darcy said as the band played their last note of an upbeat swing song and started playing a slower blues song. "I do not like dancing with people I don't know." Darcy finally replied as they started swaying to the song.

Darcy was a good dancer. He lead them through the song flawlessly. It felt as if they were the only ones in the room. He was very handsome Lizzie realized, but she couldn't be falling in love with him could she? Not after what she had heard about him, and Mr. Darcy made it clear that he did not like her the first time they met. They were enemies after all, but dancing with William almost made Lizzie forget this. There was passion between them that Lizzie had failed to notice until this moment.
