Featherfoot was a misfit. She had a strange glowing eye. Former apprentice of Lilyheart, Poppyclan's deputy, everyone expected her to become deputy when Fawnstar died. But her life took a turn when she mated with Brightnose, the medicine cat. She had his kits, and her life was ruined. Lilyheart picked somone else as deputy, and Featherfoot was left as a stupid queen. But she didn't want that. She wanted respect, and power. So she left the clan, to form a new one, Featherclan. But when Cloverkit becomes a warrior she questions if Clan life is right for her. And when rouges threaten her Clan she has to make a choice. Frostbone, a mystery to the Clans, is one of the few cats in VenomClan still loyal to the old leader's way: The way of peace. Suddenly, she realizes that she's no better than Applefoot. Paired with slowly falling hopelessly in love with a cat who never is clear with her, breaking free of her dark insides is seeming harder and harder. If she can't do it, then she'll never be able to see the face of good again. She'll be another apprentice gone wrong, and all she'll be remembered for is darkness. Sunpaw can't let that happen. But unless she figures out how to cut herself free from the darkness, then it will happen. And there will be nothing she can do it about it.
