Amanda Jackson was a tough girl - back when she was still a kid. But upon growing up she realizes that one couldn't really say and do how they pleased without dire consequences, so she withdraws into her shell that she created right after middle school.
When an incident that occurs in her high school forces her to drop out, she finds the inspiration she needs to finally apply to the school of her dreams - a prestigious high school that seems to be for only the rich and the gifted.
She gets the scholarship and is subsequently drawn into the lives of well off students that can't help but show off their parents' wealth.
Upon entering the school she meets Adrian King, the son to her role model, Dr. King and immediately falls for him. Her relationship with Adrian is however compromised when she meets Jericho, a guy she met at the bookstore she frequents who also turns out to be her long lost childhood friend.
Jericho, like any other person, has a past. But his past seems to be way more unforgivable than most people's. He ends up liking Amanda, after all his efforts to not let history repeat itself, and teied his best to stay away from her.
Amanda is intrigued by the hostility between the two boys and, despite all attempt by Adrian to take her mind off their relationship by changing the topic each time she brings it up, she soon finds herself talking to Jericho and finds out that there is more to the story than what every one knows...

He is every ladies dream. But the problem is, he isn't looking for a long term commitment. Being a product of a failed marriage he believes love doesn't exist. Jason and Mia's grandfathers are best friends. When Mia's grandpa suffers from a mild heart attack, he realizes that there isn't much time left. But he has a wish, to see his grand daughter walk down the aisle. The problem is; he thinks Dayne isn't that man. He arranges with his best friend to match-make their grand children on the pretext of merging their companies. Jason and Mia refuse to compromise. So they strike a deal with them. Found in between the devil and the blue sea, they both agree. Mia feels she is in love with someone already, so loving Jason will be totally impossible. But life isn't how it seems like always. They are yet to discover love isn't a matter of choice but a matter of the heart. Disclaimer- I know that this book has lots of plot holes, and all that. Trust me when I say I'm definitely working on it. I haven't fully gotten around editing it 'cause how busy life is at the moment. Note that, this book is my first book ever as a writer and as such has stuff that needs to be worked on. If you want to read a really thought out work, you can read my other books. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not.
