After being outed to the only people he now disliked the most, his parents react worse than expected and Clay falls into a pit of loneliness when he gets sent to conversion therapy to "turn him straight again". George had homophobic parents too and goes through the same. When times are at its worst somehow these two meet each other and now they are isolated from reality in the therapy school. (Use to be called 'How Did My Life Get So Complicated?" but figured it was too long and decided to shorten it and give a different description than it was before). Zeke's life was that of a simple nerd who liked being in the background unnoticed and who just happens to be gay. It really doesn't help when you have two tormentors picking on you every single day with no do anything to stop it. Since it was his senior year all he had to do was hang on for the next ten months. Everything will be alright, right? Sadly it won't because life decided to throw a curve ball at Zeke's head by adding more pain other than what his bullies do to him. He gains a friend, looses said friend, only living relative dies and added to that his first love ends before it even really begins.

Dream, however, was watching George's stream as he outed himself and decides to not bring any of it up, realising George hides more and more from him. The two start getting closer and closer until Clay starts realising he's more similar to George than he expected to be, wanting to be closer to him every day.
