Diremere Village

A young reporter stuck his nose too deep into too many cases he had been told to leave alone, trying to play detective and follow the trails he knew were there. Now he finds himself blacklisted from practically every job his degree could get him.

So, Grian turns to the one person he can think of to help him. His sister, Pearl, invites him to come and live with her and her two roommates in the small village of Diremere. Except strange things keep happening and Grian is definitely noticing strange things about his sister's roommates and the people of the town around them.

And, well, what is a reporter good for other than to collect evidence and pull together a report of what they see?
