Pepa married her childhood friend, Félix, and it was the beginning of Bruno's bad reputation. Julieta, on the other hand, married a clumsy man named Augustin. After their marriages, both women were pregnant soon. And Abuela was delighted to have more magical blessings on the way. Delores and Isabela were born first. The very first grandchildren to the Madrigal family. But between their birth and when they received their powers, Bruno's reputation continued to deteriorate. As did his relationship with his mother and sisters. He was becoming desperate. People in the town feared him. All he wanted was love. Then Bruno meets Valentina. They hit it off. Bruno is desperate. And his desperation results in an accident. Valentina becomes pregnant. Abuela is angry. They offer to get married but Abuela says the damage is done. Valentina gives birth to a baby girl she names Itzayana, after the moon. But Valentina never sees her daughter grow.
