Immortal

how can you be trusted with my secret i am
mortal bound do not forsake me my gods
as i cry from my immortal slumber i fear all
will come undone as every thing i touch turns
to ash and dust i do not fear the ones in the
mist what shall be will be in yet time waits
for no man to stop and mourn so shed
those unwanted tears my friend.

I am mortal bound shake the four corners of
this earth cry up to the havens let them know
we shall not be the forsaken ones anymore
deep down in the pits of hell in this kingdom
of ice and snow the ghost king knows the way

don't forsake me now my lords and ladies, i
am the forsaken one now the secrets i hold i
will take to the grave i am not there yet so let
hold our hands out one by make a chain of friendship
its a ship that doesn't sink. As i wake from
my immortal slumber nothing can take the immortals
from me it came at a price i was willing to pay
for i am one of them now.

i stand out in a crowd an endless light
form an unknown candle burns so bright
its shows the way home to the ghost king
as i shake away my moral bonds

North, East, South and west are
the corners i am on about shake
the crust of this very earth let
your voice be heard, stand out

dreaming of Athens home of
my gods that's where i want to be
but i suck in a time warp never
sleeping only waking from this
