The beginning of the end...
Ten years after a nuclear explosion obliterates the world they once knew, a groups of survivors fight to establish a new life.
What they don't know is that hiding in the shadows are 'walkers' - creatures that have been slowly growing in numbers, and strength from the fallout of the explosion.
There are two rules for surviving the post-apocalyptic world:
Rule number one: Always go for the head.
Rule number two: Never look back.
But when a blast-from-the-past causes them to watch over their shoulders, they realise they may be in more danger than they anticipated.
So what happens when you mix danger with destruction?

(WARNING: MATURE. These stories contain many topics that some readers might find uncomfortable, including intense violence, sexual content, implications of self-harm or suicide, and some instances of SA. This is an an on-going horror anthology series that is collection of stories all taking place within the same despair-ridden world: a world in which society collapsed long ago and monsters aren't just the stuff of nightmares, but a thing of reality. Each story is written by one of three authors who share creative control of the world: Eli, Liz, and Dean. The stories similarly take place in different locations across different times. The time period, setting, and author will be disclosed at the start of each story. These stories are off-shoots meant to expand the lore for a pre-existing RP between the three authors, some of which being backstories for characters within it and other stories being events that were not seen in the RP itself. Some additional stories are written/being written to clarify what would be confusing without the existing context, but certain chapters will inevitably be confusing without it, so apologies for that. This is just meant to be a place where we can order the stories chronologically and put them somewhere for fun.

THE RISKS

Blood, Masks, and Zombies
A virus that turns everyone into zombies, has broken out. No one is sure how it started, not yet at least. A group of friends that are living together are trying to find there peace in this world, will they ever find it? That's a good question. But something is off about these zombies. The end of the world is something that is ignored more often then we think. We think everything is fine... that the end is not near but what if it's closer than you think? After a science experiment gone wrong a toxic gas is released into the air killing millions... or so we thought! What if these people aren't really dead?
