When Order 66 was given and the Galactic Empire was born by Palpatine, many Jedi lost their lives at the hands of their own trusted companions - their own clone soldiers.
One Jedi can escape this massacre with her child. The child of a clone soldier of the craziest yet most successful clone squad at that time.
Mother and child find shelter with Master Djinn Altis, but the Force has other plans for Eveline Tachi and her daughter Cassiopeia. Plans, that will throw them into the hands of the Empire... Plans that will may cause one soldier to rethink his choice.

This is the English version of my German story "Cin Vhetin" - an 'Alternate Universe', a 'What If' to the 'Bad Batch' series and also a little continuation of the 'Republic Commando Series' of Karen Traviss, which I absolutely cherish.
