NuNew was hesitant at first, but he had no other option as his brother was suffering from leukaemia, and he needed money for his treatment.

NuNew accepted the contract, and soon, they started to live together as husband and husband. Despite being fake, their relationship slowly started to bloom, and they found themselves growing closer to each other. NuNew started to fall in love with Zee, and things were seeming perfect.

Zee revealed to NuNew that he had only offered him the contract to fulfil his grandmother's wish, and he had no emotional connection with him since the contract rules say, 'don't fall in love'. This broke Nunew's heart but NuNew didn't know that Zee did that because he don't want NuNew to belong in his messy world.
